DESCRIPTION
It has a 6.56” LCD with HD+ resolution, up to 90 Hz refresh rate, and a 90 Hz touch sampling rate. There is also a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera with a 5 MP sensor behind. Two cameras are on the back, but only the main one is useful. It is 50 MP with f/1.8 aperture and autofocus. The second one is a 2 MP depth sensor. The chipset is Mediatek Helio G85, and the phone has 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The micro-SD slot enables up to 1 TB of extra storage.
Oppo equipped the A38 with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33W SuperVOOC charging and basic PD (9V/1.5A). The Oppo A38 will get updates for 2.5 years, which is a good thing, given that this phone is on the more affordable end of the price spectrum. The dual SIM capabilities, a 3.5 mm audio jack, the latest Bluetooth 5.3, and all major GNSS standards are other features. The Oppo A38 is arriving in two Glowing colours – Black and Gold, but we have no information on pricing or availability.
